Change the target. Challenge the tackle. The Shoshin Doughnut Tackle Ring is an add-on, designed to bring more variety, focus and progression to your existing tackle bag training. Sold as a standalone accessory, this repositionable ring can be added to compatible tackle bags to create a clear visual target for tackle height practice, contact accuracy, and dynamic technique development.

Move it higher to encourage controlled upper-body contact. Drop it lower to support chop tackle practice. Shift it between drills to keep players adapting, reacting, and improving with every rep. Simple to use but powerful in practice, the doughnut ring gives coaches an easy way to change the challenge without changing the whole setup. Ideal for schools, clubs, and rugby training environments, it helps reinforce safer tackle habits, better body position, and greater awareness around contact height. Whether you’re building confidence with beginners or sharpening technique with experienced players, this add-on turns a standard tackle bag into a more versatile coaching tool.
